Ok, the Huskers season came to an end, as we all suspected in the Regionals. The Husker Baseball team did an exceptional job with mediocre talent. They were lacking the power hitter and a go to pitcher. Johnny Dorn has been great for the Huskers, but he’s no Joba Chamberlain.

There are three phases to the Nebraska Baseball season. There is the (1) regular season, (2) Big XII Conference and the (3) College World Series. They did very well with their regular season (despite their last two weeks of the regular season) and they melted away in the Big XII tournament. Baseball players have a plethora of supterstitions. I personally believe they have way too much time on the field between pitches to think too much hence, developing some rediculous superstitions. Nebraska Baseball will be going up a Baylor team that is full of talent, but is a little down right now. Can the Huskers sweep the Baylor Bears? I doubt it. Husker fans should not get too cocky after they anilated the Creighton Bluejays last Wednesday night. It was almost painful even for a Husker fan to listen to that game in the 5th inning. Too bad there wasn’t a “Ten Run Rule” because the Jays needed it.
