Tyler Wortman, the next “Walkon Wonderboy” from Grand Island, Nebraska. Isn’t that what Husker Nation has been waiting for? I guess we can thank Callahan for something and that’s not distinguishing Tyler’s will to play. Tyler clearly will not need the Husker Football credentials to have a successful career after college. Tyler is a mechanical engineer major and has been honored with numerous academic awards which includes First Team Academic All Big 12 (2007).

When do the salaries of the Nebraska Athetic Department pay off and how do they evaluate if the coaches ROI is great enough to constitute their high salaries? The Omaha World Herald published an article that revealed the Nebraska Athletic Department’s list of salaries.

Nebraska Baseball will be going up a Baylor team that is full of talent, but is a little down right now. Can the Huskers sweep the Baylor Bears? I doubt it. Husker fans should not get too cocky after they anilated the Creighton Bluejays last Wednesday night. It was almost painful even for a Husker fan to listen to that game in the 5th inning. Too bad there wasn’t a “Ten Run Rule” because the Jays needed it.
